Hello,

I have a 13-inch 2018 MacBook Pro that I updated to macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 from Monterey today, and now the touch bar is not working. Touch bar settings are also missing under keyboard in system settings. Anyone know how to fix this?

Sometimes Sonoma update will turn on Touch Bar zoom. If it did, turn it off.
Settings > Accessibility > Zoom > Touch Bar zoom (last option, toggle switch off)

I know this is an old thread, but just chiming in that my M1 MBP on macOS 14.6.1 is now missing the Touch Bar, too. Sometimes I'm able t press it and get the volume to go up or down, but it's just completely blacked out. Even tried booting up into Safe Mode. No dice.
