iPhone X 2018 X battery life

I have a 8 plus and i have to say it's really been a great phone, a good all rounder especially battery life, but the size and weight of the 8 plus is not practical for mobile use, it's just too big, so I'm more than likely going to get the new X, but my question is do you guy's think that battery life on the new X will match or surpass the 8 plus, because this i feel could be a deciding factor for me?

No one knows. The phone should run all day with power to spare for the "normal" user. For those who live on their devices all day, they might need to plan for charging during the day.

Well Samsung is pricing their more premium devices at the same prices Apple’s listing them as so I don’t see them going backwards.
