2019 15" Macbook Pro with sticky keyboard but Apple said that my unit serial number isn't included in the repair program

Hi guys,

I have a 2019 15" Macbook Pro with sticky butterfly keys.

I was under the assumption that these awful keys would be under their replacement program. (https://support.apple.com/en-nz/keyboard-service-program-for-mac-notebooks)

However, after speaking to Apple support, they said that my serial isn't included in the program.

Has anyone encountered this?

The program has an expiration date (right at the bottom), your device might have just aged out.

"The program covers eligible MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro models for 4 years after the first retail sale of the unit" - so, probably too old like @kitKAC said.
