iPad Pro 2019 iPad Pro charging taking too long

I have a 12.9" 2019 iPad Pro.
Today I kept it for charging (which was at 5%) for sometime and checked that it was still at 5%. I still kept it pluggedin and for almost half hour it was at 5%. I thought I should take it to the Apple premium reseller store here but after about total 40 minutes it went to 6% and slowly to 9%. So I kept it plugged in for another few hours after which it got charged 100%.

So what exactly happened to charging it ? Is there something wrong with the battery ? I bought it in September 2019 and didnt take Apple Care.

Now that it's charging (but slowly), do I still need to show it to Maple (the Apple Premium reseller here) ?

That's what I did before it started chariging again. But it used to charge pretty fast. Right now it took more than 2 hrs to reach 100% (from 5%). Is that normal ?

The normal wire that came with the iPad. Thunderbolt ? Looks like USB-C.

It takes my iPad Pro 2018 12.9” like 3 hrs to go from 5 to 100
