Received my tier 3 2020 iMac 27" today, and was surprised with the mic when using iMessage audio clip recording or in Zoom (using the mic check feature in preferences), the quality sounds distant and exactly like my Late-2015 model. However when using Voice Memos, it sounds night and day different, and actually damn near study quality.
I assume then this must be software related, and wonder if anyone else has seen this as well?
