2020 iMac order - trading in 2015 model

Going to pull the trigger on a 10 core 5700xt model and apple is offering 670 on trade for my late 2015 i7 4.0 with 512 ssd.

Has anyone traded in a mac on a mac before? (I've done phones, not computers)
Could i get more money for selling? (i no longer have the box so shipping would be hard)

If at all possible, do the Apple trade-in at the store. Apple's trade-in "partner" for mail-in trades is Phobio, and there are many posts on these forums (and elsewhere) about receiving trade values far less than the quotes because Phobio finds seemingly non-existent issues.

You might want to check out well-rated trade sites CashForYourMac.com and MakeMeAnOffer.com, both of which are well-liked by some MacRumors readers. I've done two trades with CFYM and been very pleased with the whole process. Swappa.com is another good option where you can sell (versus trade in) directly and has good feedback from MR members too.

They are selling for over $1,100 on eBay. If you’re in a good market Craigslist is always an option.
