2020 imac

So, I keep reading that a new iMac will be released in summer...
I currently don’t have a computer- do you think it’s worth waiting 3-6 months?
im looking at the “high end“ 21”

Nobody knows anything about future products (at least the ones who know aren't talking). If you want an iMac it's fine to buy now. If you want to wait, that's ok too.

iMac is currently on the "Don't Buy List." It is safe to say that there will be some sort of upgrade to the iMac this year. It may be a complete redesign or perhaps just a spec bump like last year, but definitely some sort of upgrade.

We're not even sure the 21.5" will see a new model in 2020 with rumors that a 23" model is scheduled to ship anytime now.

It should be as you say, but it’s not confirmed yet.

With any tool buy it when you need it. That being said I think they will show some update to the iMac. I tend to keep mine for a long time.
