2020 Intel Imac - Upgrade to Sonoma or Ventura

2020 Intel iMac running Monterey

Need to upgrade because some of my daily software won't upgrade. Would you recommend moving to Sonoma vs Ventura. I would prefer to go straight to Sonoma to avoid having to do two upgrades.

Any Intel users out there that are liking Sonoma? Any issues I should worry about?

Nope, but to be honest I don't use it a whole lot.

UPDATE: Upgraded the 2020 Intel i9 iMac to Sonoma and it was smooth sailing. No problems with Photos app or external drives being recognized. Photos app took a week before it rescanned the library.
