Looking to order a solid case for our 11” 2020 iPad Pro. Not sure if anyone has this case:

Others have suggested this one but I don’t like tri-fold:

Ztotop makes great cases. I would like to bet that their case for the new iPad Pro is also great.

Gosh the first one is so ugly. You get the the elegant device and then stuff it into this - are you traveling a war zone?

My wife uses this on her iPad too. Not super pretty for sure but good quality materials and good functionality.

Yeah, my son has autism and he tends to drop stuff as his fingers aren’t terribly strong. He’s had an ipad since 2010 (in one model or another). This is just a replacement for his 5 year old air 2.

Yeah, I had previously went with the ESR w/ the trifold magnetic closure for years, through many iPads... thin, light, cheap, & sharp looking.
However- (sadly) they don’t cut the mustard on a 12.9”, in my use case.
I guess I must’ve been being rough on my other iPads & never even noticed...the 1st 8 generations I owned apparently took the abuse and lulled me into a false calm, lol.
I had my 1st 12.9” for about 4 months when I had taken it out of its case for some reason & placed on the counter. It was hella noticeably bowed... my industrious self decided to “fix it”. I carefully laid down a towel, placed it face down, & applied slow pressure until voila it was perfectly flat again! Umm... then I noticed the thin strip of metal between the screen & charging port had a crazy bubbled up wrinkle- from having been bent both ways. Ugh. I have AppleCare, so I got a new one- put my ESR case on it & started being a lot more cautious (so I thought!).
A few months into owning that one & it was bowed as bad as before. =(
That is how I came to embrace this case... agreed, not the prettiest (though red & black looked ok). The only issue I’ve had is that I thought the magnetic closure on the ESR still let me use “always on” Siri; the Muse definitely doesn’t

Got ya, thanks for the context. Hope the case works out.

I contacted Zugu to ask when they might be doing colour cases for the Alpha, and they got back to me saying that they are hoping for May, but can't guarantee it because of, you know, the world. I think I'm going to hold off on it until I can get the Alpha in a nice color, and just get a cheap one in the mean time. I'm not really going to be bringing the iPad out into the world with me any time soon. :/

I have Zugu case on my Ipad Pro 2018. And I would recomend it. It´s premium quality materials and it feels sturdy. The sides may feel a bit flexible but thats to make it easy to put the ipad into the case. There is a solid thick backplate (about 4mm) that gives the case a lot of rigidity.

It´s also quite sturdy in most of the angles.

Got the $30 Ztotop and so far he seems OK with it. A bit heavy. Wasn’t hard to install the ipad into it. The back is mostly squishy so it is easier for him to hold. Lots of protection on the right side and corners. Hard to take pictures with it but that is the design of the front cover.

Im hoping someone is working on a case the will be compatible with the magic keyboard. I think they could make it with a clear cover over the front glass and then it could snap on around the edge to protect the edges leaving the back exposed for the smart connector? Main reason I held off from last update as there was no way to have a case and the keyboard co exist like the previous gen. Im in desperate need of a new iPad as my original 12.9 is in rough shape from excessive use. Been a great device but it's time.

I’m using the Folio and not liking it. I tend to hold my 12.9 Pro landscape to read and I don’t like the feel.

What is most like the old Smart Cover? I keep seeing things that are similar but more bulky.
