With talk of new iPad Pro’s and new keyboards, I’m operating under the (unfortunate) assumption that a new Smart Keyboard Folio (or equivalent) will only be compatible with the newly announced iPad Pro.

Is there any chance at all it’ll be compatible with the current iPad Pro or is that wishful thinking?

Still completely satisfied* with my 1TB 12.9” iPP, only a larger iPad with an OLED/Micro LED screen would get me interested in upgrading. Barely use the camera now so a triple camera upgrade is irrelevant for my usage.

*I don’t mind the ASK, but there’s huge room for improvement

Knowing Apple, this will absolutely be the case. It would really be a shame as my iPad Pro is still working perfectly and I’m absolutely in no need to upgrade - that said, my keyboard is falling apart as I use it so extensively. Really hoping for a better quality keyboard offering from Apple this year.

Yes, my thoughts too sadly. Same re current keyboard, the down arrow on mine now gives a variety of inputs - up/down/nothing - but no way am I buying another one.
