Hi, I have this 2020 MacBook Pro i5 and often when I try to turn it on, the battery is completely drained. Powernap is turned off. I fully charged it while using it, unplugged it and closed the lid a few minutes later. Now this morning I wanted to start working but it wouldn't turn on. I included a screenshot with battery information. What could be the problem? I'm on Monterey 12.1. This is the 5th time it happened the past month.
The picture below also doesn't make any sense because I wouldn't even know how it is technically possible to drop from 100 to 0 within an hour. (it was 11 am when taking the screenshot below)

Have your got something like Dropbox or iCloud sync running? External screen attached? It's obviously still 'running' and so some process is draining the battery. What are the stats for the battery, how many mAh does it have left?

No the computer is not connected to external devices, iCloud sync is not running. Dropbox is not installed.
You can see the battery has 4688 mAh left. I really just don't get the battery goes from 100% to 0% in under an hour. It just makes no sense to me. Normally you would have a more gradual slope in the battery level overview.

Seems according to the stats the battery is oke. Are you Dutch? So am I....if you still have warranty I would take it to Apple. Could be something with the logic board if nothing is running and it still drains, could be a problem with the sleep sensor. If you are in Holland and you have no warranty left take it to MacRepair and have them look at it.

^^ yup, I believe the issue was that certain bluetooth devices would keep waking up the macbook so essentially having it run all night

Same issue here, jensefrens. My limited understanding is that BT is triggering "DeepWake" frequently during the Mac's sleep cycle, and this is causing rapid battery drain. The workaround is turning BT off before you put the MBP too sleep, and turning it back on when after awakening the MBP. A giant step backwards, right? Please file a bug report with Apple. More voices can't hurt.

My (completely retrograde) advice:
Why not just shut it down at night?
Reboot in the morning.
Takes only a few seconds.

It's annoying. Even with fast SSD's a full boot is probably still 20seconds vs. instant.
