Following current trends, what will the 2020 MacBook Pro look like?

Here's my projection:

MacBook Pro 2020 "The Glass Sheet by J.Ive Executive Designer"
clear-glass-sheet-500x500.jpg
  • ioS and ARM not macOS and Intel
  • no user installable software, only apps from the App Store
  • OS subscription is £49 pcm
  • emoji expansion packs - themed (sports, Star Wars Episode XIV special edition, garden, etc) £5 pcm
  • no local browsable filesystem - only cloud hosted data, accessible to approved apps
  • Siri updated to Palantir Pro Chaperone Edition
  • thin tablet form factor - with no moving parts
  • HyperColour - enhance anything on your display using machine learning algorithms, personalised to your workflow and habits
  • keyboard will involve no moving parts, only a touch glass surface - optional vibrate haptic feedback RealTouch
  • totally transparent when powered off or in standby, all surface elements such as keyboard symbols are virtual, like the current touch-bar
  • no ports - all connections are wireless, from sound to display and charging, all using proprietary Thunderbird 5
  • no loudspeakers built in
  • no off button - AlwaysOn(tm)
  • external peripherals must be approved and signed by apple, otherwise they don't work - includes displays, printers, keyboard, headphones, mic
  • no USB storage / thumbtacks possible - Jony Ive vision of never ever carrying data around, you access the cloud and it's With You Everywhere You Go(tm)
  • thermal design throttles ARM to ensure Cool Touch(tm), perfect for pro workloads such as editing text
  • higher demand "pro-plus" tasks such as watching video are done in the cloud, with visuals streamed to you - an innovation that continues the innovation of Jobs (pronounced Jow-bs).
  • rich ecosystem of personalisation, Make It Yours(tm) brand, tinting the glass rose pink, sky blue, velvet red and space black
  • designed not to crack (you're dropping it wrong) - and any protective cover will void the warranty as it overheats the MacBook Pro
  • Magic Camera has no actual lens or sensor, instead uses GPS location to pull images from Apple Photos as a substitute, Enhanced Photos and Enhanced Photos Advanced
  • All creations made with the MacBook Pro 2020 are copyright Apple, and, by permission, limited in time, rented to you on subscription at £40 pcm. Apple can fight for your intellectual rights better than you - when was the last time you won an IP battle?
  • VideoCore VII graphics - optimised for streaming the web to your glass display, no heat generation through innovative use of SmartUpdate which only updates the display if heat remains within heat envelope, tested by Apple Human Labs to confirm difference is imperceptible to human eye
  • Daylight Mode turns off artificial light, and uses latest Liquid Crystal Display for use in high strength sunlight environments, innovative projection (Silhouette Mode) to table surface
  • Cell Net - solves problem of poor connectivity by passing data to nearest MacBook Pro 2020, which passes it on until the internet is reached - a resilient multi-route mesh network patented by Apple
  • power charger not included due to Ariana Arhendts imposition of new quality standards for thin packaging, sold separately at £150 and shipped in unmarked package
MacBook Pro 2022 "The Glass Curve by Dr Dre and Stormy D Executive Designer"

bendingsheet.jpg
  • curved edge edition, innovation that revolutionises computing again by totally eradicating glass cuts
  • late 2022 update - gameteophobic surface

Update 24 July 2018
  • Latest rumours suggest the model will be called the Apple GlassBook Pro

I see that you spent some time putting this together. I had some good laughs reading this.

so if you need to like....transport the macglasspro and like need to go through a screening or be in a meeting or need to replace something like the 4th piece of glass that is on crack and MUST turn off the macglasspro, can we?
paying someone ¢49.00 per month is a pain in the macglasspro!
[doublepost=1532434480][/doublepost]do we gets a free windex with every purchase?
