Did you move up from .5?

What sort of differences are you observing?

I just updated mine, to see if having Big Sur PB actually prevents updates on Catalina side like some have forewarned

I had no issues at all

Yes, Moved up from .5, The machine seems to be snappier and not wanting to throttle up and slow down. On .5 it would not take a whole lot of tasks running at the same time to make it choke. Like all of us I have been through all of the OS versions in the past, all the way back to OS9, and you know when you get a good version. I am going to keep multitasking and pushing it more to find a limit.

Defiantly much better performance from this 2020 MBA running 10.15.6. Have not had the Processor ramp up or the fan kick on since the update. For a while there I was thinking, "sell it"?

Apple knew they had an issue to deal with and they worked it out. Big Sur will have its issues as well I expect. For now I am planting my seeds on .6 to grow until I am confident to cut the crop and move on.
