iPad Pro 2021 iPad Pro 11" - Keyboard click sound broke?

Anyone else have this (I have tried turning on /off etc....

I have keyboard clicks turned on.

As I type most clicks I can hear are very soft....then some will get REALLY LOUD ... back to very soft.

I have no worries if this is a SW bug, I assume will be fixed.... Anyone else get this or do I need to return ?

If the speaker works fine with music or movie then it’s sw issue.

I get what you’re saying. Most keyboard sounds are normal, but then there are some that just POP out at you. I’ve been getting this on my iPhones and iPads for at least 2 versions of iOS now. Try it out on your iPhone if you have one. You should be able to make it happen. I find backspacing already-typed words can make it happen regularly (I was backspacing already-typed words in this reply to make it happen, for example).

I get the same, all I do is press the sleep button, then touch the screen and FaceID log back in, and then it's sorted till the next time.

It's an annoying bug which has been present since I had the Pro 2018.... and it's still not fixed.

Its the software, not hardware

Yes because you don't have a physical keyboard, and it only happens when your typing
