2021 MacBook Pro display trim piece

Some folks have noticed that the black trim piece underneath the display is "wavy" or appears to not be glued properly.

Looks like the display cables the run underneath this trim piece are causing it to be wavy.

I have the same issue with my 14" too, also I noticed there is a soft cracking sounds every time I move the lid or the hinge, so not sure if this wavy black trim piece is making that annoying sound or not.

Did Apple fix this issue for you? I have read a recent report on this in another thread.
