All iPads 2024 Digital Planner/Notebook (any PDF)

It's that time of year again. 2024 is a little over a month away and it's the perfect time to start planning on how to be more productive and organized in the new year. If you have an iPad that supports the Apple Pencil then you have a great tool to assist you in this endeavor.

Many have downloaded and are using my 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Digital Planner/Notebooks and have asked for an updated version for 2024. I have just completed it and it is now available to anyone who would like it... free of charge!

HIGHLIGHTS FOR 2024

• Minimalist Weekly planner
• Portrait orientation
• Year-at-a-Glance launch page. This allows you to go to a particular week of a month.
• Weekly detail pages
• Plenty of whitespace to allow for customizations, stickers, and other personalization

If you aren't currently using a Digital Planner/Notebook but are interested, this is what you'll need:

• any iPad with Apple Pencil support
• an Apple Pencil
• the GoodNotes app for iOS (optionally the macOS version for desktop access to the notebook)
• basic knowledge of using GoodNotes
• (also works with Noteshelf, Notability, and other apps that can import hyperlinked PDFs)

NOTES:

• Any iPad (Pro or non) with their respective Pencil will work with this.
• Any app or device that can edit/import PDF files and supports hyperlinks can work.
• (*) This also works on Android tablets using a PDF tool that supports hyperlinks (like XODO, Noteshelf)
• (*) Also works on the Kindle Scribe - this was the driving reason for the design change.

Year-at-a-Glance Page

• Month headers are hyperlinked to the Month Overview
• Individual dates are hyperlinked to the Weekly Details
• Buttons on the right go to month overview, cover page, and year-at-a-glance

Month Overview

• Zoom in to make notes for a day in the overview
• Each date is hyperlinked to its respective week's detail page

Weekly Detail

• Zoom in for specific events on a day
• Blank or template images can be copied and pasted to customize the layout

Question - I have it downloaded. How do I get it saved to my iPad where I can access it? Do I have to do that through an app, or can I save it directly to files? Clueless I know. ;-p

There are probably other ways to do it, but here is one:

1. Open Safari
2. (in Safari) Browse to this thread
3. Press and hold on the icon for the attachment
4. Select: Download linked file
5. Open Files.app
6. (in Files) Open the sidebar
7. Under "Favorites" select "Downloads"
8. Press and hold the icon for the file
9. Select: Share
10. Select: GoodNotes
11. (follow the import dialog)

You can then go back to Files.app and delete the pdf.
