I currently have a 21.5" 3.06 C2D with no applecare. The price I could sell it for would be enough for me to almost break even if I bought the new 21.5" i3 3.06 and sold the free ipod and the magic mouse (I prefer my razer). I'd get applecare as well (apart from telephone support but I live 20 mins from apple store) for free, whereas if I kept my current 21.5", I'd have to spend about £50 on applecare.
Are there likely to be noticeable differences between the two? I really only use it for surfing, a bit of light photo editing, and MS office suite.
