21.5 imac graphics upgrade

is it possible to upgrade the graphics card on my 21.5 inch 3.06ghz 4mb ram nvidea GeForce 9400 of 256 video ram to a 512 mb video card because i got given this base imac from apple and i made the mistake of not putting more cash in and buying a better one

You're better off selling it for whatever money you can get, then getting a newer iMac.
