2142 Battlefield questions.

Hey, is there anyway I can get any of the other maps that I have seen in BF2142? I only have the 5 that came with the game but theres like 5-6 others that are shown. I have tried to update it to 1.4 (twice even) but no maps were added can someone help me out or am I stuck with the basic 5?

The update to 1.40 should've added a map called Highway Tampa. This is both a Titan map, as well as an Assault Lines map, the latter of which is typically only available to those with the Northern Strike booster pack.

The maps you are seeing are probably part of this pack. EA currently does not offer it for sale for the Mac version, but it is about $10 for the PC version. Basically, it adds the Assault Lines maps, as well as a few unlocks and awards. EA has hinted that they're working on a Mac version, but judging by EA's current Mac track record, it doesn't look like we'll be getting it any time soon.

If it's of any help, EA will be releasing a deluxe edition of BF2142 for PC. It'll be released in January for about $30, and it'll contain Northern Strike. I'm only mentioning this because EA really screwed up their new Mac ports. They run much better under Windows.

Thanks yeah I know of the Northern strike which added 3 maps but I saw on their website maybe 3 or 4 more that wasn't included in the x-pack or the original game. Also I've been having trouble updating it I have twice but nothing seemed to have happened I also find it sad that EA treats us as 2nd rate citizens.
