I have one as well. If you're okay with the gradient banding issues.

That price is really great and half of what it was when it first came out. I might also note this thing makes for an excellent cheap HDTV solution as you can hook your cable box right into the monitor via DVI and it handles 720p like a dream. :D

just bought it, also got the $35 off coupon off of ebay for a buck, got it all shipped for about $340

does dell ever not offer 20% off?

I bought mine a few months ago, it's the 2005FPW, and it was about $430 or so I think, so usually it's about 10% is all I think. 22% is a much better deal, I've never heard of anyone picking one up for $350.

Hopefully by the time I have the cash to re-buy a Dell panel they will have worked out these banding issues on the DVI input. I like the HDCP compliance and the more svelte base (as compared to my last Dell display, the 2005FPW).

I'm not a big fan of dell. Buy the Viewsonic 20.1" widescreen from buy.com for $340 shipped with $15 coupon (can find by googling "buy.com coupon")

It's the same lcd screen as the dell 2007fpw, same specs as well.

Except that the Viewsonic has less rich colors, a higher black-level, and more backlight bleeding. If you can wait long enough for Dell to fix the DVI banding issues, the Dell is the best choice. Their computers suck, but for the money, they make some of the best LCD panels out there.

Just bumping to let you know they have this deal again, well, almost, it's $367 instead of $359. Ordered mine this morning

The price still doesn't change the fact that the technical issues still exist (which is why I think they continue to price them so cheap). I'm waiting for the 2008/9 model.
