Running 22D72 (18.3.1) on 15 pro max. Plenty of storage on phone and in icloud. Phone is on power (70%), and connected to wifi with airplane mode enabled to narrow this down, since all of the apple support pages say wifi is required to sync, even tho prior to this, cellular was working fine for sync.

Photos app says "synced to icloud now" but all the photos taken after the most recent video (including the video) have the cloud with the slash through it icon (and there is no way to force a sync). When I delete that most recent video, the sync occurs and eventually displays the same "synced to icloud now" message. Anyone else seeing this?

update: after deleting the most recent video and after the sync completed, I recovered the video from the trash. as soon as it came back to the library, it showed the cloud icon as being synced and was immediately in photos on my mac. There's no way it uploaded to the cloud that fast, so it seems like it was already synced tho it had the cloud/slash icon. this is all very weird.

Usually when I saw such things happen it was because iCloud was having an issue server-side, and it solved itself after a bit.
