Know someone that is just enamored with the 24" ACD and claims they MUST HAVE ONE. I know there are adapters that take the Mini and MBP and such from Mini-DVI or MDP to VGA/DVI. Question is, is there an adapter that will take this monitor from MDP to VGA or DVI?

1. this is in the wrong forum.

2. There is currently no way of adapting anything without a mini displayport into the 24" ACD.

Ahh.....my bad it is in the wrong forum.

But notice how quickly I got a response.

Thanks!

No the new ACD is only compatible with the new Mac Line up. There is no DVI to MDP female or VGA to MDP female adapter that would allow you to connect it to a standard video card.

theoretically there could be a way to put a either a GT120 or 4870 video card from a Mac Pro into a PC and somehow load up the Apple driver for it but I'm sure it would just be a hassle and you would probably have to have the right motherboard also.
