24" iMac Keyboard replacements

Has anyone with a 24" iMac had trouble buying another keyboard of the same color? I was told by Apple that you can replace a defective keyboard with the same color, but you can't buy one.

Yes, and the most common complaint is that you cannot get a matching color trackpad unless you buy it at the same time you buy the iMac.
I gather some people have been able to get one by speaking with Apple Support, but this may depend on the person.

I did not know that, either. But after 90 minutes of fruitless conversation with 2 different salespersons and 3 different "specialists", it doesn't surprise me. I guess I should have gotten a silver iMac instead of blue.😉 Thanks.
