Ordered few days ago from an Apple Retailer via Ebay.
I it is ordered from and to Germany, because I will move to Munich in a week.

Very excited :)

Since I am doing photography work (not professional, but to an extent where I occasionally earn money with it), I am also afraid of the screen issue and I can't stand dead pixel.

So when I get it and discover one of the numerous problems that exist, what are my options?
Can I send it back to the ebay seller even with only one dead pixel?
Can I take to an Apple retailer, will they exchange it/send it back?

I know that I am seeing problems where there are none right now :D but since the iMac will most likely arrive at home tomorrow and I will only be in Germany from next week onwards, I want to make sure I can tell the people who will receive it for me what to do when they discover a problem.

Thanks :)

Check the sellers return policy. You need to read the small print. Even Apple is unlikely to replace it for a single stuck pixel. If Apple will not accept it with a dead pixel you can bet that an eBay seller will not either.

If it is a new Mac, you can take it to an Apple Store or one of Apples third party warranty service shops. In either case it's unlikely they will exchange it. More likely they will repair it. It depends on your local laws and Apples policy in your country.
