Can anyone give me the height of the 24" iMac from base to top of monitor compared to the 20". (or a link to a site that provides this)

Also can the monitor be straight up and down or is it always on an angle?

Size and weight (20-inch)

* Height: 18.5 inches (46.9 cm)
* Width: 19.1 inches (48.5 cm)
* Depth: 7.4 inches (18.9 cm)
* Weight: 20 pounds (9.1 kg)4

Size and weight (24-inch)

* Height: 20.5 inches (52.0 cm)
* Width: 22.4 inches (56.9 cm)
* Depth: 8.1 inches (20.7 cm)
* Weight: 25.4 pounds (11.5 kg

I took this pic the other day at Frys comparing the 2. As far as the angle you can have it straight up and down.

Sorry to jump in here but are these dimensions when it is at an angle or when they are straight up?

Thanks
Andy

I would imagine straight up and down.

*takes measuring tape to my iMac*

My iMac is not at an angle. The screen is perpendicular to the desk. I measured exactly 18.5" from base to top, and 19 1/8" from side to side.

How about the depth?

Is it the depth stated when it is straight up or at an angle?

Thank you all so much. I thhought it may be In the apple site but I was running around so much that I wasn't thinking staight when I posted. As for the straight up and down that is great because my comp desk has a stand for the monitor and at an angle I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to see the screen right.
