I'm concerned that I have an issue with my new 24" iMac. If you look at the pictures, you can clearly see that the screen is brighter on the left side. Do you think I should try to contact Apple for this issue, or is this a normal problem with these monitors? Has anyone else seen this? If so, what did you do? Thanks.

Same thing as me. Posted this in a thread earlier. I tried to take it back to the Apple Store I bought it at a couple days ago since I'm still inside the 14 day window and the employees were zero help and the manager said they are ALL this way and wouldn't let me exchange it. So I've been following up with Apple all day directly and they got in touch with that store. Now I have to bring it in tomorrow and they're either going to give me a new one, hold on to it for a while to do "comparison" testing (whatever that is) or send it off to Apple's engineering dept. and I might get a new one back. I honestly hope they just give me a new one because this is starting to get absurd. I'm not trying to pull a fast one. I just want one that's how it's supposed to be. Doesn't seem like too much to ask for something that costs nearly two grand.

And yes, absolutely contact Apple! I really think anybody who has this problem needs to get in touch with Apple directly and speak to a product specialist. I managed to finally get a name and direct e-mail for one so it's a little easier to at least get some leverage when you have somebody to help from the inside. Not to mention that Apple just needs to be fully aware of this issue and how much it's pi$$ing off their customers.
