I have a older Imac 24' 2.16 Intel Core 2 with a 128 nvedia card. I have about 6 months left on my applecare.
The problem seems to come and go with lines throughout display. I have had to zap the pram several times because of a lock up. I feel like the Imac is getting slower by the day leaving me thinking of the video card. I have done the hardware test to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions on the problem or remedy. I live about 65 miles to the apple store also. Thanks

No one having any problems? Am I the only one out there??

I had them. I have a late 2006 white 24" iMac. It was starting to get bad with the lines and other odd graphics when minimizing windows. Turning the fans speeds up helped a little, but then that was just masking the symptoms. I took it in to the Apple store after phone support couldn't get it fixed. They said it was my graphics card and since I had about 6 months left on AppleCare also, there was no charge. It took about a week though to get the part and have it worked on, but good as new now.
