Hey guys recently I’ve seen the Antutu benchmarks for the Samsung galaxy s9 and s9 plus being posted online. They do score around 240k and even one with 250k has been shared around.
I thought I’d benchmark my iPhone and this is the result I got.
Now bear in mind that the iPhone I benched used antutu version 6 and the android phones are all using the latest 7.
A note 8 which usually scores around 182-185k version 6 of Antutu, scored 200-205k on 7.0 . When Antutu updates to 7 on iOS I believe iPhone X will score around 20k-25k higher.
I benchmarked the iPhone two times after leaving it cool down for 5 minutes in between each test. The first result was 240700 and the second was 242800.
This is without putting the phone in the fridge or cooling it down with a bag of ice.
The phone was let to cool down over night in room temperature and benchmarked in the morning. The only thing I did was closing the background apps before the test.
I imagine easily if I had cooked it down it would have scored better.
I have seen it go for 247900 when cooled down for 2 minutes.
Next benchmark should be geekbench 4. I will benchmark it tomorrow and post results in this thread again.
When somebody comes to you and tells Samsung is smashing iPhone X on Antutu, pass these screenshots around and note them that they are using antutu 7.0 and not 6 as the iPhone X uses.

When antutu upgrades we will see much better scores. Version 7.0 runs different tests from the 6.0 to 6.3 on iOS.
The note 8 is scoring 205k on 7.0.4 just search on YouTube - note 8 antutu v7 - and the look the first couple of videos.
