I own a small cheap digital clock. Its mirror coated front. I love it. However, ive read the instructions and cannot understand how to manipulate the THREE Buttons on the side correctly. I want 12hr time. I cant get it out of 24hr mode. The 3 buttons are: M, +, -. If i hold the M button it flashes 24hr. But if i click the M again it seems stuck in 24hr. Anyone understand what will switch it to 12 hr mode to set the time? M must be Mode, but i need it to go to 12hr mode. The instructions only talk about how M is for both time modes. DUH! Pressing + only dims the numerals, or advances the hr or min.

I noticed that you say "hold" and "click"......so I'm wondering if you've tried just "click" instead of "hold"?

I'm suggesting this because the clock on my microwave oven toggles between 12h and 24h with just a "click".....while "hold' doesn't change the setting

If i click the M button it goes to 0:00, click again, OFF, click again 15:00 etc. i dont know what OFF means. Does it mean 24hrs off? Then when i try to set time following it doesnt choose hrs to choose the hour to start.

What‘s the name of the clock?
Maybe a second set of eyes on the instructions will help.

My next step would be to hold M and when 24hr flashes continue holding and simultaneously press the + or - to see if it cycles.

A sea of green
Maybe post photos of the alarm clock itself, front & back. Someone might recognize it.

Also check inside the battery compartment (assuming it's battery operated). Sometimes there's a make and model number there.
