Apples 25th anniversary of the Mac is coming up in a few days. Does anyone have any thoughts on possibilities for the 24th? We don't know of any presentation from Apple right now, so that possibility is most likely not going to happen. Do you think we will see quiet upgrades in the store, an online presentation from Steve or Phil or Time, or just the classic commercial upgraded with the woman running with an iPhone 3G?
This is a pretty big day coming up. I would be sad if Apple didn't use that day to do something relatively big. They don't have to announce anything huge, just something to mark the occasion.
So, what do you think?

Maybe that night we will finally see a new Mac mini and possibly iMac.
AH! I just thought of something, Steve could have possibly waited to have Phil announce something at MacWorld so he could release it for the 25th anniversary.

They did nothing to commemorate the 25th or 30th anniversary of Apple itself. I don't see much hope for a special commemoration of the Mac. Jobs just isn't into looking back (sentimentally or otherwise). He is always looking forward.
