27" i7 EvE Online & Heat

Hi all

Just got my first iMac, while she runs all I can throw at her, I am concerned about the heat, the top and top/rear of my iMac gets VERY hot when in EvE Online, and I am concerned if this is normal and will not severely reduce the life of my machine?

Noticed that my self and then it heated up so bad it slowed down turns out the fans or something wasn't working correctly and it shut down had to send it back in for repair it is common I guess.

I have the 2008 iMac and it gets hot when in EVE too but with no adverse effects. i just speed up the fans a little before going in and it kills all the heat so i can play all day without worrying.

I'm getting the new top spec 2011 iMac (just ordered it today!!) so I can't wait to play with the CQ at more than 3fps (the 2600 HD isn't cut out for it! lol)
