Let me start off by saying I LOVE this computer. But it seems that I have joined the lucky rank of iMac owners with problems...
The Screen Glitch:
When I start up my imac my screen does this weird glitch thing just after the apple loading screen and the blue screen that follows.
Images:
first the apple loading screen
Then Glitch
Cuts to white
Then goes to blue
And here's a video:

The glitch takes up the whole screen and works it way from top to bottom. It only takes a split second. The video is probably the best way to see it.
Recent work done:
I had two extra 2GB sticks of ram from crucial that i guess were wrong and I had to take my mac in so they could swap out the logic board... or at least that's what they told me they did. But even before then I saw this happening after the initial ram install.
Since then i had the ram replaced as well and am now back up to 8GB. 2 x 2GB original mac ram and 2 x 2GB crucial.
Side Note:
After leaving the computer off for a few days I started it up and received a few loud beeps. I researched it and heard that it could be due to faulty ram. I removed the ram and it worked, then i put it back in and it worked as well. So I'm kind of confused.
I am open to any and all suggestions.
Thanks
