27" iMac C2D Shipping Dropped to 1 Week Now - Is this good news?

I just saw the iMac 27 inch C2D 3.06 Ghz is now shipping in 1 week vs the usual 2 weeks for all 27 inchers. The core i5 and i7 are still 2 weeks.

I can only view this as a positive (maybe they are not getting as many orders) for this specific model or could it be they have started to fix issues?

Still waiting to buy my 27" iMac i7.

It's hard to say why. Maybe they started shipping orders to resellers (we don't have quads here yet) or finally going to fix the screen issue. Nobody knows for sure

a search i did back in nov. indicated the quads were having heat and noise problems that could not be corrected...
this was why i ended up with my 'core-duo'(?)...
best-buy dropped the quads like a fresh turd on a hot day , believe me , they don't drop something unless they see a huge liability from a sales/replacement standpoint...

i think they might be getting their **** together due to lost sales and bad press...
