Anyone having an issues where their iMac display will turn off (computer still awake) but won't come back on again after you move/click the mouse or press a key on the keyboard?

I am using the apple bluetooth keyboard/magic mouse that came with my iMac. It is the Mid-2010 model.

I've tried re-installing but the issue still occurs. Any ideas? I have attached my "energy saver" settings incase they are needed. Also, "Allow bluetooth devices to wake this computer" is checked in the bluetooth pref. pane.

iMac's have a way to reduce display brightness? Guess you learn something new every day.
It's hidden on your keyboard:

Guess I need to work on my sarcasm...
I wasn't being sarcastic or condescending. I've experienced waking my MBP from sleep, only to find the display brightness off. Using the keyboard to increase brightness works in those situations. While it looked like it hadn't awakened from sleep, it turned out that it was only the brightness issue.
