27" iMac i7 -Late 2009- SSD Upgrade

I've read the guides in the section and searched thoroughly on other websites,
but what has intrigued me most is the possibility of keeping the Superdrive and the Seagate drive intact.

Would this be possible on the iMac 27" -Late 2009- ?

I read that the part states it works on the Mid 2010 iMac but I'm wondering if anyone has tried to use it with the late 2009 model.

Any suggestions?

No, the 2009 model only has TWO Sata ports.

You could remove your optical drive and put one in there. There are some guides online for doing that.

I think iFixit has a guide.
