So got the machine setup less than 10 days ago. Was playing Black Ops MP on my PC using the iMac as display and when I exited I found a pink vertical flickering line down the screen. Switched back to OSX and it was there, rebooted still there. Only seems to appear with a certain colour (these forums background show it clearly).

Take it this is going to involve a repair? :(

If this line was solid I would say display related.... it still might be. But because of flickering it's either cabling or graphics card. My 30" had the same flickering in various places, apple replaced display 3 times I guess before they realized themselves it was the cabling.... So my guess cabling issue. Let us know what it is if you find out. Most likely apple won't tell you.

I called Apple this morning, they had me do the P,R,Cmd,Alt to double chime but they seemed confident it was a hardware issue.

As it's only 14days old today they have offered to replace it, only issue is I don't want to be without over Christmas... Apparently they need to collect the old one before they send out the new one and it was a custom build so I can't see them getting it to me before Christmas.
