27" iMac / Win 7 - Page border looks square

I 'm running Win 7 via boot-camp on a 27" iMac less than 2 months old. When I work in Adobe Illustrator or any program displaying a rectangle it's looks like a square. The rulers measure is as 8.5 x 11 but it is clearly a square.

Any advise (besides don't run windows)

I won't be back in office until wednesday. But it pretty well looks like a "square page border" If you diplay the rulers it will measure 8.5 x 11 like normal. But the image is square.

I looked at the page borders on the Mac side and I don't think there are any issues.

Maybe you are running it at the wrong resolution? The correct resolution for the 27 inch iMac is 2560x1440.
