27" iMac with 24" ACD

Hi,
I've bought a 27" iMac Core i7 with an ATI Radeon HD 4850 Graphics Card.
I'm considering buying a 24" Apple Cinema Display.
I know the Graphics card will handle it, but will there be a significant performance decrease?
