27 inch C2D screen

Sorry, this is probably somewhat of a daft question, but I'm gonna ask anyhow...

When you tap your iMac screen should it sound like plastic. Always thought glass had a distinct feel / sound when you tapped it.

Presuming it's the type of glass they;ve used, that or I'm obviously missing something.

Yes, it should sound like plastic, mine does the same and I have one of the first 2007 Aluminium models.

Take a sledgehammer to it and it'll definitely break like glass.
