Amidst all the news reports of potential iMac production halts this morning I noticed in an article on MacFixit this morning that there is apparently speculation about a possible 27-inch iMac recall.
Though the company hasn't officially released a comment, speculation is that current owners of the 27-inch iMac may find that Apple initiates a recall 27-inch iMacs.
That's the first time I'd read about any recall speculation so I don't know how much truth (if any) there is to it. If it does happen I'd be left with a very difficult decision though since the machine (week 47) I have has thus far been a keeper. I did confirm though that my iSight has 4 pixels stuck grey that I hadn't noticed before by zooming in on a Photobooth shot of the camera blocked with the cleaning cloth. They're fairly undetectable in normal usage though.
