27in i5 imac sold out at bestbuy.com

has anyone noticed that this computer has not been available for about 2 weeks now? and prior to that it has been on back order. i find it hard to believe that bestbuy has stocking issues with this model. anybody think a refresh is possible?

Nobody really knows, it's been speculated that it'll occur within the next two weeks or most probably in September.

I thought the refresh would happen when WWDC was going on, but now that that's passed, I doubt we'll see anything until after the back to school promo is over and the old stock is cleared out.

The Apple store is showing normal availability for all models with 24 hour shipping indicated. It sounds more like there may be issues with Best Buy inventory policies.

I just purchase one from them, have been waiting since the 9th, but as op said, it turned from backordered to now sold out online that you cannot even make an order...

Would it be possible they never have this item anymore?
