2900XTX and the Mac Pro

I dont think this card will even fit in the mac pro case, will it? Its absolutely HUGE... How much bigger is it than the 1900XT in the current pro?

Length or width? There's tonnes of extra room length-wise, the X1900XT for the Mac Pro actually has a spacer built onto the back to make it longer.

When they design these cards I'd imagine they want them to be able to fit in most peoples computers

Apple are rumoured to have had a special 2900XT made for them. The retail cards are also shorter than the OEM versions. I doubt Apple will use the XTX either.

It will fit. The majority of 2900XTX pics floating around the net are of the "OEM" variety, with the extra long plastic thing. It was rumored to be going into new Mac Pros.
