I cant find anyone else posting this problem, but I know its not just me, as a friend of mine is having the same problem. I have an 8GB iPhone (non 3G), his is 16GB. Both on O2 in the UK.

We both updated the phones to 2.0 on Friday.

We have both found that Podcasts are now all or nothing.

For example, I have 9 podcast subscriptions in iTunes. I have selected 2 of them (10 most recent) for syncing to the iPhone. However, everything syncs to the iPhone, not just the ones I selected. It syncs every podcast, and uses all the available space on the phone. We both experience the same problem.

Is anyone else getting this? Do we have to wait for a fix, or is there something we're missing?

It is working fine for me. Do you have the 'All Podcasts' or the 'Selected Podcasts' button selected? The check marks do still appear even if the 'All Podcast' button is selected.

I'm getting the exact same problem - all six of my podcasts sync even though only 4 are selected, not to mention ALL the episodes are syncing as opposed to the '3 most recent new' which I've selected in iTunes.

Even disabling the syncing of podcasts doesn't stop this. There's obviously a bug either in iTunes 7.7 or in 2.0.

Odd there are more people with this complaint...
