2g pwnd to 2.0 - Google Maps doesn't know..

Hi,
I've pwnd' my 2g iphone to 2.0 and it works a treat. The only trouble I have have is that google maps can't find me. on 1.14 it worked ok. Now nothing.

Any ideas?

Did you possibly tell Google Maps to "Not Allow" it to use location services ?

Also make sure Setting -> General -> Location Services is set to ON.

Does Urbanspoon work ?(I love that app)

Same for me.

I was using 1.1.3 unlocked all the way until this weekend. 1.1.3 was unlocked with ZiPhone 1.1 back in February and Google Maps worked fantastic. Locate Me feature worked on both WiFi and over the cellular network.

Now I'm on 2.0 unlocked with Pwnage 2.0. Google Maps now only locates me when using WiFi but not using the cellular network.
 
Thanks Colin for the suggestion but I did allow the maps to find me and urbanspoon doesn't see me either.

Ninja and I seem to have the curse of the ziphone. I updated from 1.13 to 1.14 with ziphone.

Does anyone know of any hacks we can use to fix this?

and i forgot to mention that i must put the volume up on my BlueTooth every call i make/receive; i didn't need to do that last week.... and i was still running an unlocked iPhone with the oldest firmware 1.0.2..... yes 1.0.2 LOL :)

its a 2.0 bug, i have legit o2 and since 2.0 locate me stop working. it doesnt effect everyone but is a relatively common bug.

so dont worry bout it

2.0.1 should sort it i guess

how did you unlock 2.0? i thought pwnage 2.0 didn't come out yet
 
i have an unlocked 2.0 and locate me sucks! with 1.1.4 the blue circle was right around my house- perfect. now it practically circles all of cincinnati thanks for telling me what city i'm in. BTW i use wi-fi with a great fast connection
 
Just to give you an update. i've been away on holiday / vacation and Google maps works okish away from my home location.

Cornwall and anywhere in that area seemed to work for me, not completley accurate but atleast it worked.

When I got home I was back to the same situation with Google maps not being able to find me. Oh well roll on 2.1 firmware are neither 2.01 or 2.02 made any differences.
