How about a nice headphone>USB2 adaptor? I wouldn't mind that. I bet it'd look ugly as hell, but c'mon, someone has to.

And maybe a pair of headphones that the shuffle just snaps into? Kinda like mTune?

Are there any announced plans for these kind of accessories? I think they'd be very useful and popular.

Here are some DIY 2G shuffle headphones. They also have loads of other cool shuffle hacks (mainly for the 1G shuffle, but some cool new shuffle stuff as well.)

Too bad aluminum isn't magnetic ... it would be cool to have the Shuffle just snapped on to pair of headphones.
