2GB DDR2 SDRAM single chips anytime soon?

Are there any plans for 2GB DDR2 SDRAM sticks in the works? Something to bump the MB/MBPs to 4GB?

Yeah, they're 200pin SODIMMS. That's what the new Intel macs use.

This guy is waiting on another 2GB stick to see if 4GB will work in the MB and MBP…

The 2GB worked fine but 2+1GB sticks failed so he ordered another 2GB it see if the lack of parity caused the failure.
