2nd DDR2 RAM to MacBook 2007

Hello guys, my uncle gave me a MacBook 2007 (mid 2007 2,1). I am planning to use it for school, but there is a really small RAM (2GB), browsing in chrome uses 90% RAM. I need one more 2GB RAM. I need to know what RAM can I use. At this moment there is a 1x 2GB KVR800D2S6/2G.
There is a one empty slot for RAM, so basically all I need to know is if I have to buy the same card that already is in this Mac or if it can be a different one. If the second possibility is right can you give me some examples of these RAMS? Thanks a lot!

You can get any 2GB DDR2 667MHz SODIMM stick and that would work.

Please be aware that although your Mac will show as having 4GB RAM after the upgrade in 'About this Mac', the OS will only be able to address 3GB of RAM.

As such, I'd recommend the following:

- Increase RAM to 3GB (add 1x1GB DDR2 667MHz SODIMM)
- Swap HDD for an SSD (paging to disk after RAM is full will reduce performance deficit)
- Try to avoid Chrome if possible, it is a bit of a resource hog.

I read something about 3 vs 4gb but I didnt realized that 4 and 3gb is the same. I ordered 120gb SSD yesterday. I know that the chrome isnt a best choice, but I habituate on the chrome (windows and lot of RAM). Thanks a lot for your help btw. sorry for my english, I am from slovakia
