A.)Is the Apple TV Model A1378 the same as Apple TV Apple TV MC572LL/A?

B.Was there only one version of the 2nd generation Apple TV? For example, there are multiple versions of the iPhone (16gb, 32gb, 64gb,) Was there only one version of the 2nd generation Apple TV? I am trying to sell my 2nd generation and move to the new one, but wanted to make sure I was describing the product correctly.

C.) Why are 2nd generation Apple TVs so much more than the new version on Amazon?

Thanks!

Yes. When in doubt, consult and generally speaking, that website.

Yes.

Because they can be jailbroken, while ATV3 cannot and probably never will.
Many users including me, think that the real potential of the ATV is discovered trough 3rd party apps (read: not crappy iTunes, something like XBMC), so a jailbreak makes it real yummy.
I kinda wasted $99 on the ATV3 now, since it's not getting much use and I already lost the hope for it to be ever jailbroken.

So yeah, you can "overcharge" for the ATV2 and wait for a fat fish to bite the bait.
