2nd hand Macbook Setup

The Macbook seems to have been resett, first ting that pops up when I press the power buttin is the apple logo and a loading bar underneath. Then a menue from which I can choose different languages. What to do now? Seller seems nice, but should I do another resett, how do I do that? Are there different types of resets?

I want tips and tricks, advice for what I should do when setting up a purches 2ndhand macbook.

I would use Internet Recovery, erase the drive and do a clean install - About macOS Recovery - Apple Support

Looking at that article - you'll use Disk Utility to erase the drive then quit Disk Utility and select the option to install macOS.
