hey there,
i just installed an SSD as main drive in my mid2012 MBP 13" and use my original 500gb HDD now via an adapter in the dvd-drive space.
Problem:
the partition from my 2nd drive gets lost from time to time. happened the first time after 2-3 month of the modification. now it happened again several times without a specific pattern after switching on the system. i cant understand why!
details:
on my main drive (256gb EvoSSD) i use osX 10.9.2 and win7 via bootcamp.
the second drive was formatted in exFAT as data storage.
after switching of the MBP and using it again the next day suddenly the partition from the 2nd HDD was gone. "the drive needs to be initialised"
i reformatted it. again in exfat. same thing happened again a few days later.
same process. and again a few weeks later.
anybody has any idea what could cause this? and how i could repair/avoid it?
